The sacrosanct Maghi Mela, which was organized to pay obeisance to 40 ''Muktas''(the redeemed souls) who gave their lives while fighting against the Mughals in the final battle fought by the 10th Sikh Guru Gobind Singh in the year 1705. As per the legend, the Guru cremated the martyrs himself on the day following Lohri and thus, the day were considered very auspicious.
A large number of companies from different industries participated in this mela and are showcased their products for the mela vistiors.
