iControl Systems, the nation’s leading provider of retail collaborative business intelligence and Scan Based Trading applications, today announced the addition of Dennis (“Denny”) Belcastro to the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Belcastro becomes the final member of the 2012 board of directors, which features seven returning and four new members.
Denny is Executive Vice President, Industry Affairs and Collaboration at the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) where he is responsible for GMA’s strategic collaboration platforms and key industry initiatives to best serve the Association’s membership. Based in Washington, D.C., GMA is the voice of more than 300 leading food, beverage and consumer product companies (CPG) that sustain and enhance the quality of life for hundreds of millions of people in the United States and around the globe. GMA assist its members to produce safe products through a strong and ongoing commitment to scientific research, testing and evaluation and to provide consumers with the products, tools and information they need to achieve a healthy diet and an active lifestyle.
Prior to joining GMA, Denny was Vice President, Customer Development and Industry Affairs for Kraft Foods North America where he was responsible for Kraft’s “First to the Table” integrated focus on customer collaboration and overall business relationships within the industry. In addition, Denny led Kraft’s engagement with corporate initiatives that included customer marketing and supply chain areas of focus. Denny also served as the Executive Director and Tournament Chairman of Kraft Nabisco Championship, the first major on the LPGA tour and one of golf’s crown jewels, where he was responsible for total development and implementation of sales, marketing, media, and all operational aspects of the event. The KNC was Kraft’s premier CEO customer engagement forum for senior executive leadership within the industry.
Denny began his career in the food industry in 1976 when he joined Standard Brands in Pittsburgh, PA as field sales representative. During the past thirty-five years, Denny has held several business and customer development and organizational leadership positions with Nabisco and Kraft, including as Vice President, Sales and Customer Logistics for its Direct Store Delivery segment.

A native of Aliquippa, PA, Denny holds a bachelor degree in business communication from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where he majored in integrated communication and was a four-year letterman in intercollegiate baseball, serving as team captain for two years. Denny earned his executive Master of Science degree in business and organizational communication at Northwestern University. Denny and his wife Marsha make their home in a Chicago suburb and have three adult children.
