AVEVA (LSE:AVV), a leader in engineering design and information management solutions for the plant, power and marine industries, today announced Nobiskrug, a leading German shipyard, has strategically invested in the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management product family (AVEVA ERM). Already an AVEVA Marine customer, Nobiskrug has now selected the AVEVA Material, AVEVA Planning and AVEVA Production products.
Specialising in Mega Yachts, Naval Vessels and Offshore Technology, Nobiskrug is continuously improving its shipyard operations, and is in the process of updating its IT/IS architecture. AVEVA ERM was identified as a vital element to develop a more efficient operating shipyard and implement industry best-practice. Nobiskrug’s final solution will be integrated to a finance solution, which supports AVEVA’s open approach, and allows customers to continue to use their best in class applications where possible.
AVEVA ERM offers shipyards the ability to optimise project control to lower material and production costs, and plan more efficient work schedules, leading to shorter project timescales, higher productivity and increased project quality.
