For three decades, American Installation Services, a division of NOS, has offered installations of its high density and mobile shelving systems by its staff of trained, experienced employees. AIS is now providing the same top-caliber installations to metro area companies, professional firms and government agencies through contracts with office furniture manufacturers and dealers.
“A good installer can make or break an office project,” says Joe Alvarez, NOS Principal. “AIS is the firm that furniture contractors can turn to for installations completed accurately and efficiently. Having competent, trained and experienced installers is a huge plus to both the furniture manufacturer and the end user.”
Alvarez says NOS has named Kenneth Swiatek, a veteran of the office furniture systems industry, as Project and Operations Manager, supervising installations for AIS. Swiatek has 31 years of experience in office furniture installations for large scale private sector and government agencies. He will be in charge of overall operations, labor quotes, work crew assignments and troubleshooting for systems furniture installations.
“Furniture that’s delivered and installed correctly and on time is our goal, and our team works to make sure we reach that goal,” says Swiatek. “AIS teams use the custom design for an office as the blueprint for our installation. A New Jersey native, Swiatek transferred to the Washington area in 1986 while working for one of the largest office furniture dealers in the nation. He now resides in a community close to the water where he, his wife, children and grandchildren enjoy boating and fishing.
