The Princess Royal will attend the conference in the morning to deliver a short speech, before taking some time to tour the Exhibition and Sports Demonstration area.
Organised by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine (BASEM), this year's conference looks set to break new records for attendance and has set its sights on creating a new standard in the world of medical conferencing.
Speakers will present over four days on a wide range of significant issues currently impacting the sports industry. Topics will span from the use of Human Growth Hormone, the impact of genetics on performance and the Barefoot Running debate.
Some of the biggest names in the industry are heading the bill this year, including; Daniel Lieberman, ‘The Barefoot Professor’, Liverpool Football Club’s Director of Football Strategy, Damien Comolli, and UK Athletics Head Coach, Charles van Commenee.
