YASH Technologies™, a leading technology services and outsourcing partner for global companies, today announced its inclusion in Software Magazine's Software 500 ranking of the world's largest software and service providers, now in its 29th year.
YASH's ranking of 245 is based on revenues from global operations and includes revenues from consulting/professional services, system integration and enterprise implementations, application management services, SAP® software license sales, and training.
Since its inception in 1996, YASH has experienced growth in terms of service and solution portfolio extensions, delivery capabilities and geographic reach. Today, YASH serves customers on a global scale and continues to gain market share as a leading technology services and outsourcing provider.
“We are pleased with YASH's ranking for 2010," comments Tom Connorton, vice president for YASH Technologies. "Our goal is to continue to provide leading solutions and services with existing customers and expand our reach in key global markets such as Europe and Asia.”
“The Software 500 helps CIOs, senior IT managers, and IT staff research and create the short list of business partners,” Desmond says. “It is a quick reference of vendor viability. And the online version, to be posted soon at softwaremag.com, is searchable by category, making it what we call the online catalog to enterprise software.”
The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world's largest software and services suppliers, targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers, and business managers involved in software and services purchasing.
The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2010. This includes revenue from software licenses, maintenance and support, training, and software-related services and consulting. Suppliers are not ranked on their total corporate revenue, since many have other lines of business, such as hardware. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by King Content Co. and posted at softwaremag.com, as well as from public documents.
