HotelShark.com, the world’s most-trusted online lodging guide, awarded its first fin to a hotel in Hong Kong, and in doing so, added a section covering hotels in Hong Kong. HotelShark.com gives fins to properties that are positively reviewed by guests online.
The fin was awarded to the Island Shangri-La, a property in Central Hong Kong. A recent guest of the Island Shangri-La called it "remarkable," with "spotless" guestrooms, "excellent" beds, and a "sunny" gym. Citing high-tech touches and "delightful" restaurants, the guest said he felt "ready to go back today!"
Other finned properties in HotelShark.com’s new Hong Kong section include the Conrad Hong Kong and the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong.
HotelShark.com awards fins to hotels that are reviewed, on the whole, positively by guests. A fin appears as a small, gray icon to the left of a hotel’s name within a given city index. The fin system gives travelers a quick way to find well-liked hotels within a given city.
A city, state, or country is added to HotelShark.com when necessary to accommodate a new review. A review is published only after a contribution from a traveler has been thoroughly researched and authenticated. HotelShark.com discards well over half of all incoming contributions as insufficient or invalid.
Neither HotelShark.com nor its parent SharkPage is affiliated with any of the aforementioned properties or their parent companies.
HotelShark.com, the site that Consumer Reports calls one of “the tricks to booking online,” is the world’s most-trusted Internet lodging guide. The site was named one of the five best travel websites by National Geographic Traveler magazine, and has been praised by the Independent ( UK ), US News & World Report, and USA Today. Founded in March 2001, HotelShark.com is available free of charge. HotelShark.com is owned by SharkPage, a privately held company based in Palo Alto, California.
