Taipei, Taiwan, 2006/10/20 - SingNet, the Internet Service Provider of Singapore Telecommunications Ltd (SingTel) subsidiary, is offering a value-added WAN load balancing solution in Singapore, which bundles SingNet Internet Connection Services with AscenLink 110 and 320.
“With a single Internet connection, businesses suffer the potential risk of single point of failure, which could result in disruption of web services, downtime of business activities or even losses of potential customers. “We offer this bundle program as a non-stop internet service to provide highly availability and reliability of the WAN link”, Jenny Teo, account manager of SingTel said, “With AscenLink WAN load balancer, businesses gain value-added services of outbound/inbound load balancing, fault tolerance, bandwidth management, and comprehensive reporting on all the Internet links. In simple terms, AscenLink ensures reliable WAN connections and optimizes WAN bandwidth utilization.”
Jacy Chang, Business Development Manager of AscenVision, said, “Businesses tend to be reluctant to changes of its network configuration such as the IP addresses of its public services, or even configuration changes to its router and firewall. Multiple WAN links, preferably of mixed characteristics such as leased lines, DSL broadband lines, or Fiber lines, should be combined to ensure WAN fault tolerance. How to aggregate multiple WAN links then becomes a challenge. AscenLink can be deployed seamlessly into any existing network to aggregate multiple WAN links, including, of course, the SingTel Links. SingNet bundle program further proves AscenLink as the best choice for Telco/ISP solution to offer multiple WAN links aggregation.”
SingNet bundle service is implemented by Malifax, platinum partner of SingTel and value added distributor of AscenVision.
