Brightsun Travel will commemorate its twenty-fifth year in business today by announcing a new loyalty programme designed to reward their loyal customers. The programme called btpoints will enable customers to earn on any time of holiday booking, the more spent – the more earnt.

Despite tough challenges for the airline industry, from ash clouds to the global economic recession Brightsun Travel has rocketed skywards. Figures released today reveal that Brightsun Travel has achieved a record turnover of £47 million, making it a large force in the UK travel industry. From humble beginnings of a small Soho office of 3 staff, it now employs over 120 people in four offices spanning the UK and India.
"It’s fantastic to have almost achieved 50 million in turnover" says Brightsun Travel’s Chairman, Mr Ram Sarup Nangla. "We are going from strength to strength although we have faced 2 major recessions since we were established. To mark reaching a quarter of a century in business, Brightsun Travel held a Bollywood Extravaganza Evening on Friday 1st July. The dinner dance event attended by 250 guests featured performances from international illusionist Bharat Patel, award winning comedian and columnist Shazia Mirza and acclaimed Bhangra dance troupe 4x4 dancers.
