Southeast Managing Partner and Vice Chair Karole Lloyd has appointed Oscar Suarez as Florida Market Leader for Ernst & Young. Listed by The South Florida Business Journal as a Top 100 South Florida Power leader in 2011, Suarez has more than 30 years of public accounting experience, all based in Florida. As Market Leader, he will act as a strategic advisor working with clients across the area, while refining the firm’s focus and building its brand in the market. In addition to enhancing his role, strategically, in the business community - Suarez will continue his investments in the civic community. He will maintain strong involvement with Miami United Way, Florida International University, University of Miami and the Association of Latino Professionals in Accounting and Finance boards.
Succeeding Suarez as the Miami Managing Partner is Hector Tundidor. Noted by The South Florida Business Journal as a 2010 Key Partner, Tundidor’s knowledge and understanding of the Miami market is strong. He has more than 19 years of public accounting and business experience and has served various leadership roles for Florida and across the Americas. A known leader within Ernst & Young, he is also a respected leader in the community. Tundidor serves on the United Way Campaign Advisory Cabinet; is a member of the Florida International University America’s Venture Forum Council; and a member of the University of Miami Citizens Board.
