Bomgar, the worldwide leader in secure, appliance-based remote support solutions, today announced its first annual user conference: Revolution '11. The inaugural event will bring together IT support executives and professionals from across the globe to create a powerful, educational and collaborative environment where attendees will share best practices, insights and ideas for delivering superior, enterprise-class IT support.
Revolution '11 will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, from October 16-19 at the InterContinental Buckhead hotel. The event is open to all customers and users of Bomgar, including CTOs and CIOs, Directors of IT and Support, and Help Desk Managers and Support Engineers. In addition to the educational sessions, workshops and round tables, the event will feature a number of evening activities, including an Octoberfest-themed celebration and the Bomgar Nation Hero Awards banquet during which awards will be presented to customers exemplifying thought leadership and outstanding achievement in enterprise IT support.
A keynote presentation will feature John Foley, former lead solo pilot for the Blue Angels, who will inspire attendees to always strive for personal excellence-fine tuning achievement and driving a team to excellence. The conference will also include general sessions by Bomgar founder Joel Bomgar and co-founder Nathan McNeill who will share the Bomgar story and how the company is revolutionizing the way companies provide IT support. In addition, a number of Bomgar customers will present how they've optimized their IT support operations for both employees and customers using the Bomgar remote support solution.
"The Bomgar User Conference promises to be a great opportunity for me to learn from my peers and share the tips and tricks I've gathered as a long-time Bomgar customer," said Russ Long, director of IT at SDS Pharmacy, Inc. Long is an active Bomgar Nation Community member and one of the customers presenting at Revolution '11. "I'm looking forward to meeting the people with whom I regularly interact in the Bomgar Community, and moving our conversations from virtual to face-to-face."
"Revolution '11 will be the premier forum for our customers to learn about IT support best practices, while networking with the rest of the Bomgar Nation-Bomgar's fanatical customer base," said Natalie Salser, director of customer marketing at Bomgar. "The agenda offers something for everyone-from enterprise strategies to practical techniques for everyday use.
