This week at The Cable Show, Rovi Corporation announced that it has signed an agreement with Cogeco Cable Canada, Inc., a leading cable telecommunications provider in Canada, for Rovi TotalGuide Solution for set top boxes (STBs), tablets, smart phones and PC devices.
TotalGuide for STBs will provide Cogeco with the ability to deploy advanced search, content discovery and recommendations capabilities to its subscribers while enabling consumers to transition between the current and enhanced user experience at their own pace. To further enhance its services, Cogeco will also utilize Rovi TotalGuide xD “white-label” application and enable users to connect, access and control their entertainment experience from the PC, tablets and smart phones.
