VanCryst™ HDMI Media Distribution Solution:
The HDMI Media Distribution Solution is a one-to-many, point-to-multipoint system for transmission of high definition video and audio, the HDMI MDS transmits HDMI and HDCP content in real time from any type of player/computer to HDMI display devices over two Cat 5e cables. The new solution consists of the VS1284/VS1288, 4/8-port HDMI Over Cat 5 Splitter and the VB282 Cat 5 HDMI Repeater or VE800R HDMI Extender. Cascadable to five levels, the HDMI MDS can support hundreds of displays when combined in an installation with extenders or repeaters. The HDMI MDS solution gives users the freedom and means to set up any kind of high quality video display installation from customized retail media networks to public information systems.
KN1000 KVM Over the NET™ One-Box Solution:
The KN1000 is a control unit that provides "Over-IP" capability to servers or KVM switches that do not have built in over-IP functionality. It allows operators to monitor and access their computers from remote locations using a standard Internet browser or Windows/Java based application programs, for BIOS-level troubleshooting without the need for constant on site IT maintenance. The KN1000 is a one-box solution that offers one-port KVM over the NET™, Power over the NET™ and Serial over the NET™ functions.
To manage and control the entire datacenter environment, a built-in single-port Power Switch allows remote power management of a server/installation connected locally to the KN1000, including turning servers On, Off and Rebooting. The KN1000 also provides serial console management over the internet which can remotely control serial console devices such as a network switch. The KN1000 is the fastest, most reliable, most cost effective way to remotely access and manage widely distributed multiple computer installations, such as kiosks and automated banking.
3D-enabled KVM Switch:
The CS1782A 2-Port USB DVI Dual Link KVMP™ Switch is developed for the growing demand for 3D connectivity solutions, as they are increasingly used in computer gaming or in modern multimedia-based environments like the educational sector. With the new KVMP™ model it is possible to share a 3D featured Dual Link DVI monitor, a USB keyboard, USB peripherals and a sound system with two computers. The CS1782A is equipped with the latest technology for emulating keyboards and mice supporting multimedia keyboards and multifunctional mice.
KVM, USB und audio signals can independently be switched between the two connected computers via the CS1782A front panel or alternatively via hotkeys. The ability to switch all signals at once with only one mouse click provides even more flexibility and convenience in use. For a brilliant sound experience with maximum bass output the CS1782A supports 7.1 surround sound audio.
DVI KVM Product Innovations:
The CS1768 8-port USB DVI KVM Switch is a control unit that allow access and control of up to 8 computers from a single USB keyboard, USB mouse, and dual-monitor (DVI-I and VGA) console. It can be cascaded to three levels and control up to 512 computers from the original single console. In addition, the CS1768 comes with ATEN’s new Video DynaSync™ technology, which optimizes display resolution. Users can switch between the connected computers via pushbutton port selection switches located on each unit's front panel, hotkeys or OSD. An Auto Scan feature also permits automatic scanning and monitoring of the activities of all computers running on the installation one by one. The CS1768 provides multimedia keyboard support and is audio enabled.
With the CL6700, ATEN presents a new single rail DVI LCD console. The CL6700 integrates a 19-inch high-resolution LCD monitor, a full keyboard and a touchpad in a 1U-rack-mountable sliding housing. With DVI-I, the console supports both analog and digital video input. The device features a USB 2.0 port for keyboard, mouse or peripherals, offers connections for USB, VGA or DVI devices at the console and server side, and guarantees an excellent resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 [.] 75Hz and supports DDC2B.
About KVM Switches-An Essential Server Management Device
A KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) switch is an advanced, hardware-based solution that allows centralized access to multiple computers easily and conveniently from a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse. A KVM switch is useful in an extensive range of environments, suitable for SOHO users, small and medium businesses, and large corporations. Fundamentally, a KVM switch allows server rooms and data centers to optimize rack space in the IT environment, reducing costs and the clutter of keyboards, monitors and mice. Additional benefits include savings in energy consumption, server racks, cabinets, and floor space. Since a KVM switch provides access to a number of computers from a central location, IT professionals are no longer running from one server to the next, thereby streamlining workflow and increasing productivity. To meet the ever-developing needs of the globalized economy and the Internet, KVM solutions now have over-IP functionality for remote management capability that better fulfills the demands of corporations who need to manage multiple server rooms worldwide.
