Antenna Software, enabling business transformation through compelling mobile experiences, today announced that its President and CEO, Jim Hemmer will be speaking on the global impact of mobility at the Mass Technology Leadership Council on Friday, May 13, 2011.
WHAT: The Mass Technology Leadership Council will be a half-day conference providing delegates with an opportunity to discuss the way that mobility is shaping the global economy. Jim Hemmer will be speaking as part of the m-commerce panel,“Why Financial Services and Retail Companies Want Access to Your Pocket.” Moderated by Dean Petracca, a partner at PwC, Hemmer will be joined by Pedro Santos, Chief Strategist of e-Commerce at Akamai Technologies and Bob Schukai, Global Head of Mobile Technology at Thomson Reuters.
With mobile device penetration rapidly reaching 100 percent in the developed world, and growing swiftly in emerging markets, the conference will highlight the opportunities and strategies for businesses who want to capitalize on the ‘mobile first’ economy. As part of this debate, Hemmer will be discussing actionable strategies for enterprises that wish to deploy a multi-national mobile project – and what steps enterprises can take to overcome the challenges of device fragmentation, security issues, broadband access and linguistic barriers.
Antenna will also be demonstrating their latest applications for enterprises at the event, including the latest in tablet computing applications for mobile banking.
WHO: Jim Hemmer has more than 25 years of experience in the hi-tech and communications industries, and has been President and CEO of Antenna since 2002, leading the company from a small start-up to the industry leader in the mobile enterprise market.
