The Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Office has posted unofficial election results for the City of Sarasota District 1 election on May 10, 2011. Nine precincts participated in one contest for the City of Sarasota District 1 Commissioner. The results of the election, which are being displayed online utilizing SOE Software’s Clarity ENR, can be found online.
Unofficial election results report 1,232 ballots cast in the election. The winner of the City of Sarasota District 1 Commissioner contest was Willie Charles Shaw, having 733 votes casted in his favor.
