San Jose, CA, United States, 2011/04/06 - DreamTV brings top-quality, fresh, unique and novel content to television viewers in several different genres at no cost to the viewer by incorporating advertisements - DreamTVS.com.
DreamTV announced today that the company launched free access to their line-up of fresh and unique video shows on several connected TV platforms. DreamTV is one of the pioneers in integrating a patent pending technology for playing advertisement on any connected TV platform. The advertisements are fairly short -- about 10 to 15 seconds -- as a pre-roll advertisement before the show starts. The service also supports a subscription model to opt out of advertisements.
With over 1,500 hours of viewing entertainment on its channel, DreamTV receives approximately two million hits per month and currently has a viewership of over 100,000. Its content can also be seen via the iPad and over-the-top TV boxes like Roku and SkyAngel IPTV; and it will be available soon on Samsung and Vizio TV. With this upcoming new development, DreamTV will provide unlimited access to premium content -- this includes all of the available films, documentaries and various other shows from around the world, such as Travel shows, Dad’s Labs, Food from Africa etc. -- at no cost to the viewer. DreamTV’s unique offering gives viewers alternative, on-demand shows not available through traditional cable and satellite service providers.
With free access, DreamTV’s viewership is expected to go up at least four to six folds. Due to this increase in viewership, the demand for fresh and unique content is expected to grow significantly as well.
“Our viewers have come to expect a great selection from DreamTV, and we plan on living up to that expectation by continuing to seek out new and exciting content for our viewers to enjoy,” said DreamTV correspondent.
Founded by filmmakers and technologists in 2007, DreamTV (dreamtvs.com) brings top-quality, fresh, unique and novel content to television viewers in several different genres such as feature films, documentaries, travel, technology and science, environment, action sports, dad’s programming, lifestyle and African foods. The company seeks to bridge the gap between viewers and mid-tail content producers, while simultaneously increasing traffic for the Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service providers. DreamTV works with content providers to bring professionally produced work to viewers.
