Bath, Banes, United Kingdom, 2011/03/30 - Future, the special interest media group and UK no. 1 film publisher, reveals an exciting new look for DVD & Blu-ray Review – the UK’s leading guide to home entertainment - DVDReview.co.uk. LSE: FUTR
DVD & Blu-ray Review has been comprehensively revamped from front to back, starting with a completely new logo that reflects the widening scope of home entertainment as it’s transformed by new technologies from 3D to Blu-ray to downloads.
Inside, larger-than-life small screen star (and long-time DVD & Blu-ray Review reader) Justin Lee Collins joins the team. His regular column celebrates his ultimate movie heroes and favourite cult TV in his own inimitable style.
“JLC is an awesome addition to our team of hardcore TV and movie fans,” says Editor Ali Upham. “Justin understands just what Review is all about and he’ll be sharing his love of the greatest movie and TV actors, directors and characters with our readers. It’s a real honour to have the man who put the A-Team back together and slugged it out with Steven Seagal appearing in our pages.”
The new-look magazine features more celebrity access than ever before, with Hollywood’s most controversial leading man Christian Bale and Oscar nominee Mark Ruffalo both interviewed in the next issue.
The refreshed review section now provides much more DVD coverage than any other film entertainment title, and also covers 3D, Blu-ray and downloads. New features include a games and technology section, as well as the latest movie collectibles.
Each week a newsletter will feature the key releases and pre-orders, as well as the best features and reviews from the new website dvdreview.co.uk, also undergoing a major overhaul.
Future’s Entertainment Group Publisher Clair Porteous says: “This is a hugely exciting time for DVD & Blu-ray Review – the only magazine that offers the complete guide to each and every film and TV release every month. With more access, more news and more reviews it caters for movie and TV fans of every genre, and celebrates everything about the perfect night in.”
The new DVD & Blu-ray Review goes on sale on April 13 priced at £4.25.
