Holzer brings more than 15 years of experience developing groundbreaking creative and digital campaigns with some of the world’s preeminent fashion, beauty and lifestyle brands to this important leadership position.

Prior to joining Starworks Group, Holzer served as Founder and CEO of Syrup, a leading digital and integrated creative agency in New York City which he launched in 1998. In twelve years of building the company, Holzer was accredited with growing Syrup’s business to more than $10 million in revenues and successfully managing its sale to LBi International in 2007. Syrup’s clients included Calvin Klein, Bottega Veneta, Diane von Furstenberg, PUMA, GE, News Corp, Coty Prestige Fragrances, Clinique, and L’Oreal among many others.
As Global Director of Digital and Integrated Services, Holzer will oversee Starworks Group’s digital division with responsibilities including senior-level strategy and counsel for Starworks Group's interactive and integrated digital program development. Starworks Group’s brands include Kate Spade, Net-a-Porter, Lancome, Hudson Jeans, Bergdorf Goodman and Loewe. The Starworks Group digital division will continue to work in tandem with the communication agency’s multiple disciplines including its Branding, Editorial, Events, Public Relations and VIP/Celebrity Services.
Holzer has served as an expert for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and is a member of the Art Director’s Club, The One Club and the League of Advertisers. In 2008, Rob was invited to Harvard Law School to discuss Syrup’s creation of the pro-Obama website, HopeActChange.com, and the impact of social media on the 2008 primary and general election.
