Launching next week, netmagazine.com is a digital centre of excellence that provides professionals and enthusiasts alike with the skills, insight and inspiration needed to create and maintain world-class websites.
Built in HTML5, optimised for mobile and adhering to the latest standards in web development, netmagazine.com combines best-in-class functionality with compelling content that includes up-to-the-minute news, in-depth tutorials and authoritative features.
The beta phase of the launch is well underway, with more than 3,500 users registering before the beta site even went live.
Dan Oliver, Editor in Chief of .net, said: “Our launch team has created a new .net site that represents our core brand values – passion, opinion, authority. It’s a one-stop digital resource for professional creatives who are looking to improve their knowledge, find inspiration, and gain a competitive edge. The .net audience has a passion for bleeding-edge web design, and we hope our new site exceeds their expectations.”
The new site complements the market-leading print title, established in 1994, and the .net Awards, the UK’s longest-running internet awards.
.net is a key brand in Future’s digital creative portfolio, which reaches more than 670,000 web designers, developers and digital creative professionals per month through print, online and events.
Matt Pierce, Group Publisher of Future’s Creative portfolio, added: “.net’s website is now every bit as inspiring, creative and innovative as the print product: the team have created an essential, free, daily resource.
“Along with the globally-celebrated .net Awards, a recently-launched digital edition of the magazine and continuing .net-branded bookazines, netmagazine.com is a key element in the ongoing evolution of the brand.
“For the site, it’s just the beginning. We’ll be revealing new sections and functionality in the coming months, and there are several more .net digital projects we’ll be sharing with our growing audience very soon.”
.net’s new home launches on Monday, 7th March at netmagazine.com. The beta site is live now.
