Shanghai, China, 2011/01/28 - GE Capital Aviation Services Limited (GECAS), the commercial aircraft leasing and financing arm of GE, announced delivery of two new Boeing 737-86N aircraft to Shanghai Airlines Company. NYSE: GE
Last year, China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai announced plans to merge, with Shanghai operating as a wholly-owned subsidiary. GECAS leases a total of 32 aircraft to both carriers.
The delivery comes from GECAS’ existing order book with Boeing.
