Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom, 2011/01/26 - Jigsaw Systems, a leading provider of IT-based solutions to creative markets, will be on stand i32 at the Broadcast Video Expo 2011 to demonstrate DaVinci Resolve and Autodesk Smoke, as well as a stereoscopic workflow using CineForm Neo3D.
Jigsaw’s broadcast and post-production consultants will be on hand to give free consultancy on solutions you are currently considering for your business. The demonstrations will take place in a seminar style and there’ll be limited seating available.
DaVinci Resolve - Utilising the latest version of DaVinci Resolve, Jigsaw will be showcasing the highest specification Mac Pro system. With a Cubix-powered three GPU system using NVIDIA Quadro 4000 GPUs at his disposal, Jigsaw’s in-house Resolve expert will discuss and showcase the power and features of Resolve 7.1. This will be your only opportunity to see this full spec OS X system at the show, and will also use Red Rocket acceleration to demonstrate a full speed R3D workflow.
Autodesk Smoke - Jigsaw have teamed up with Autodesk this year to give demonstrations of the popular finishing tool, Autodesk Smoke for Mac. Demo artists from Autodesk and Jigsaw will be showing how you can extend your in-house post-production workflow by using Smoke’s sophisticated editing, grading and effects tools.
CineForm Neo3D - Following on from last year’s successful demos of CineForm Neo3D, Jigsaw will be joined by Pro 3D’s Andy Bellamy (a CineForm Authorised Trainer) to host an introduction to Neo3D for Final Cut Pro. They’ll be covering everything from the basic considerations when working in S3D to an in-depth look at CineForm’s 3D editing tool. There will also be the chance to see how Tangent’s Wave control integrates into NLE workflows.
V-Ray and iray - Jigsaw will also be giving attendees the chance to see how GPU rendering (using V-Ray and iray) is revolutionising 3D rendering, and there’ll be hands-on demos on PNY NVIDIA’s stand.
The programme of events for each day is as follows:
11.00 - DaVinci Resolve
12.00 - Autodesk Smoke
13.00 - CineForm Neo3D
14.00 - DaVinci Resolve
