Tel Aviv, Israel, 2011/01/12 - Typemock sponsors the developers community and offers a 'New Year's Agile Care Package' including a full year’s sponsorship, Typemock software licenses and more.
Typemock, the leading provider and pioneer of easy unit testing solutions, announced the launch of a new competition for .Net, C++ and Agile user groups. The competition is part of Typemock’s on-going support for the developer community and will run through January ending on January 31st 2011.
The competition is based on a points system; user groups get 2 points for each member who downloads a free trial of a Typemock product and 10 points for posting a review or a story relating to their "Agile Path". The group with the most points wins. The winning user group will receive a 'New Year's Agile Care Package' including 12 months of group sponsorship, Typemock software license(s), the 'Art of Unit Testing' book, an Agile calendar, and exclusive T-shirts.
Although the competition ends on January 31st, Typemock continues to support international developers and user groups throughout the year. Typemock offers sponsorship of up to $200 for any user group who has at least one meet-up during 2011. The money can be put towards anything the group feels will strengthen the developer community.
“The purpose of the sponsorship is to give back to the global developer community that have supported us throughout the years, and to help advance agile development and unit testing”, commented Eli Lopian, Typemock’s founder and CEO. “We are looking forward to contributing to user groups from the US, Europe, Asia and helping them improve our profession.”
Typemock (typemock.com) was conceived in 2004 to help programmers develop code integrity through unit testing. Since the launch of the first version of the Typemock Isolator in 2006, thousands of companies around the world including multinationals Microsoft and Nokia use Typemock tools to make unit testing easy and to upstream the quality processes. The Typemock users are developers from a wide range of sectors – such as defence, medicine, and finance – that demand exceptionally high standards of quality and minimum errors. The only tool that allows total automated unit testing, Isolator supports the easy unit testing of Silverlight, WCF, and all other .NET and C++ technologies. Typemock is a privately funded company based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
