Logic Software Inc, a leading provider of project management and collaboration software, announced today the release of Version 7.1 of its web-based project management suite Easy Projects .NET. Developed with extensive client feedback, Easy Projects .NET Version 7.1 is a major upgrade which makes task management, collaboration and time tracking easier for project managers and everyone on their teams. Major new features include a user Home Page aimed at providing a single place for task tracking and collaboration for individual project team members, and an interactive Silverlight Activity List for project managers to view, track and manage multiple tasks.
In the first quarter of 2010, Logic Software Inc. conducted a survey among its clients. The goal of the survey was to find ways to improve user experience and satisfaction. The results of the survey indicated that over 80% of a typical project team didn’t have time, desire or patience to learn the various options and features offered by Easy Projects .NET. What they were looking for is a one-stop page where they would be able to view their assignments, track time, collaborate with other team members and report their progress.
Based on their feedback a new user Home Page has been created. It is a single place which lists all of the user’s activities and gives them the tools needed to collaborate by posting messages, updating statuses, reporting potential problems, uploading and downloading files and tracking time without ever leaving the Home Page. By enabling the end-users to perform all of their required actions on one page, the new user Home Page greatly reduces the learning curve allowing for faster training and implementation of the software by customers.
