Rambus Inc., one of the world’s premier technology licensing companies, today announced it has received the “Best Technical Paper” and “Most Inspirational Paper” awards at the Silicon Valley Test Conference. The awards were presented at a ceremony during the Silicon Valley Test Conference at the Wyndham Hotel in San Jose.
Rambus’ paper titled, "LabStation: A Low Cost, Scalable, High Throughput Characterization Environment" was honored with the “Best Technical Paper” for its integrated approach of testing circuits and system, ease of simultaneous worldwide deployment and validation of IP from its integration phase through production.
Another Rambus paper entitled, "Low Cost, Transportable Power Platform and Flexible Interface for Multiple Hardware Protocols" was recognized as the “Most Inspirational Paper” for a test infrastructure which emphasizes reusability and cost effectiveness. The modular design described in the paper enables quick adaptation to new IP testing and reduces time-to-market.
"The Silicon Valley Test conference highlights the importance of validation and testing to the semiconductor industry,” said John Kent, vice president of Technology Development at Rambus. “We are honored that the work of our inventors has been recognized at this conference. These awards are a testament to Rambus’ commitment to the creation of the next generation of technology.”
