NetSuite, Inc., the industry's leading provider of cloud-based financials / ERP software suites, today announced the opening of Europe's first dedicated center focused on the development of cloud ERP-based business management software suites. The new cloud development center, headquartered in Brno, Czech Republic, is expected to focus on extending NetSuite's industry leading offerings to meet the needs of global companies. Over the next year, NetSuite hopes to add more than 100 new employees in Brno, focusing on software engineering and development across NetSuite's broad product offering, with particular focus in ERP, Ecommerce, CRM, and mobile capabilities.
NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson was present for the launch of the new Brno office, taking the opportunity to meet with existing NetSuite users in the area, as well as potential customers, partners and local government officials. NetSuite's European Cloud Development Center will be managed by Zain Nemazie, NetSuite Vice President of Engineering.
"NetSuite's global market opportunity is enormous, and the establishment today of the first major dedicated Cloud ERP development center in Europe allows us to accelerate the functionality required by enterprises large and small operating around the world," said Zach Nelson, NetSuite CEO. "After much research we chose to locate the NetSuite European Cloud Development Center in Brno, Czech Republic. The city's strong universities, rich history, and deep roster of other international IT leaders make Brno uniquely suited to meet our requirements for world-class engineering talent."
Brno is the Czech Republic's second-largest city and has become a key destination for high-tech companies seeking qualified talent and a friendly, inviting atmosphere in Central Europe. NetSuite's initial office will be established at The South Moravian Innovation Center.
The South Moravian Innovation Center (JIC) aims to promote innovative entrepreneurship and commercialization of research and development in the Czech Republic's South Moravian Region. JIC offers in-house business support, finance, legal, and business development experts, access to networking and funding, and comprehensive incubator and academic cooperation programs. "We are excited to work with NetSuite to bring the leading Cloud technologies to the South Moravian region," said Miloš Sochor, Chief Consultant of JIC. "We expect our relationship with NetSuite to serve as a model of future success for other established high-tech companies looking to expand into Central Europe."
