Belmar, NJ, United States, 2010/10/26 - Westford Mass -based Diagnosys has received a multi-million dollar order from Panasonic Avionic Corporation for S500 Functional Testers - Diagnosys.com.
The testers will be delivered to New York City Transit as part of the R160 Rail Car contract.
Included in the order is the development of over 60 functional and diagnostic test program sets. The testers will be delivered to New York City Transit as part of the R160 Rail Car contract, one of the largest rapid transit purchases in history worth over $2.3 billion.

The S500 platform will be used to diagnose faults in the on-board electronics-based systems.

S500 testers currently support fault diagnosis in electronic systems from door controls, auxiliary power units, on-board environmental and other electronic-based control systems located in light rail, rapid transit and buses.
