Columbia, MD, United States, 2010/10/14 - In a recent letter, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability (OE) recognized the efforts of Energetics’ Smart Grid Investment Grant (SGIG) support team.
Client Donald Macdonald cited the team’s exceptional performance under tremendous pressure, saying that the team has “materially contributed to the success of the SGIG program” to date.
Energetics (energetics.com) has supported the Smart Grid Investment Grant program since 2009, evaluating grant applications, analyzing grantees’ project execution plans, reviewing monthly invoices, developing and implementing management systems and processes, and providing additional program planning and implementation support. These efforts help DOE and its grantees strengthen project planning and execution and ensure that grant funds can be quickly disbursed to stimulate the economy and advance Smart Grid technology development and deployment. Macdonald’s letter came after Energetics’ September invoice reviews helped DOE release $136 million in funding, its highest monthly output to date.
The Energetics Smart Grid Investment Grant support team is led by Program Manager Chris Kelley and includes support staff April Marcy, Tenley Dalstrom, Dominic Grelli, Diane Winters, Jimmy Ly, Laura Barnett, Dave Horn, Kay Hudson, Cami Dodge, and a small team of subcontractors.
Energetics will continue supporting the OE Smart Grid Investment Grant program, along with the OE research and development program, through a newly won prime contract.
