Nexans, the worldwide leader in cables and cabling systems, today announced that they are participating in the Infrastructure Strategies Executive Forum 2010, which is being held on October 6, 2010 at the Madinath Jumeirah in Dubai. Tarek Helmy, the regional director of Nexans Cabling Solutions Gulf & ME, will be speaking at the event on the topic titled, ‘Untangling the LAN’, which will focus on the challenges faced by companies while building a robust local area network (LAN).
“We are happy to participate in the Infrastructure Strategies Executive Forum 2010, which is an ideal platform for us to meet CIOs, IT Directors, Network Managers and IT specialists from many end-user companies at a single venue,” said Mr. Tarek Helmy, Regional Director Gulf and Middle East of Nexans Cabling Solutions.

The Infrastructure Strategies Executive Forum 2010 will cover topics ranging from data centres, cabling and infrastructure, cloud computing, virtualization, security to Intelligent Infrastructure solutions. CIOs and IT Directors from several regional end-user companies are expected to attend the event. Apart from Tarek Helmy of Nexans, speakers from companies such as EMC, Alumium Bahrain, Emitac, RSA to name a few are expected to present.
