Savannah, GA, United States, 2010/09/30 - The IAEI Southern Section will hold an annual meeting and continuing education seminars in Savannah. These seminars are great for electrical inspectors and anyone else who needs CEU’s.
Savannah will host the 82nd Annual IAEI Southern Section Meeting and Code Conference. The conference will be held October 10-13, 2010 at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront Hotel. For conference information, please see the Section website or on the Georgia IAEI website.
IAEI educational sessions are the very best available, interactive classrooms with industry experts ad NEC code panelists. This year’s sessions will include Analysis of the 2011 National Electrical Code and other topics. For the latest information about the NEC 2011 and the future of electrical issues this will be the most important meeting this year. Also, there will be Code Panel Discussions are on a variety of NEC topics where attendees will also have an opportunity to submit questions from the floor.
Roger McDaniel of Georgia Power is the Georgia chapter International Association of Electrical Inspectors Secretary/Treasurer, and has been active for years in Continuing Education for electrical industry professionals. Contractors, Engineers and Inspectors across Georgia have been relying on Roger and his team for NEC classes, and opportunities to meet and discuss important issues in electrical safety and construction. The IAEI Southern Section includes Oklahoma, NC, VA, GA, TX, FL, SC, TN, LA, MS and AL. The IAEI regularly submits code change proposals, and is one of the most active chapters in the Southeast. Many proposals from the IAEI Southern Section end up being adopted as Code.
