Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., software as a service provider to more than 1,300 hospitals in the United States, announced today that Greer Memorial Hospital in Greer, SC, has adopted Veriform to streamline their compliance inspections.
VeriForm is a checklist management system that helps hospitals document and report on compliance and patient safety issues throughout a facility. It provides the ability to create multiple forms and document these inspections in one flexible, easy-to-use application.
"The ability to create custom inspection forms has helped patient safety, accountability, and compliance with Joint Commission standards," said Jim Roe, Pharmacy Manager for Greer Memorial Hospital. "Besides completing nursing station inspections, we have created individual areas in our pharmacy for documentation of criteria we have established. We have eliminated paper storage of nursing station inspections and now e-mail completion to nursing managers."
Managers can run real-time reports to easily see which forms have been completed and monitor trends in compliance by hospital area or criteria. VeriForm has fully-integrated email capabilities so completed forms can be emailed to nurse managers and others for approval, if needed. VeriForm has eliminated paper completely from the checklist process and provides a robust reporting tool to complete the process.
