As country head for KSA, he will be responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies, business development and developing channel development strategies along with building strong customer relationships. Prior to joining Interactive Intelligence, he enjoyed a 12 year long career with Avaya in Saudi Arabia in various senior positions, the last being Territory Manager, and distinguished himself as a consistent high performer.
“We are extremely pleased to have a professional of Abdul Nasser’s background and caliber joining Interactive Intelligence. Saudi is the largest IT market in the Middle East and holds tremendous potential for us. Looking at Abdul Nasser’s track record of outstanding career achievement and performance, we are confident that under his leadership our company will be able to rapidly increase its footprint and market share in KSA,” said Mr. David Paulding, Regional Sales Director for UK, Middle East and Africa, Interactive Intelligence.
Abdul Nasser holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and started his career in 1998 with Lucent Technologies as a senior systems engineer and two years later was moved to Avaya when Lucent spun off its business communications group globally. He quickly rose up the ranks and held various senior executive positions - services manager, channel account manager (KSA), sales manager and finally territory manager. He was instrumental in winning several prestigious contracts for Avaya including STC, King Abdul Aziz University, Arab National Bank, King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Al Inma Bank, besides others.
Commenting on the potential business in Saudi Arabia, “Saudi Arabia is a very strategic market. The government has shown a strong commitment to promoting ICT as part of its overall development strategy and this has created lucrative business opportunities across the sector. I am very optimistic about the success of Interactive Intelligence in the Kingdom as the company has strong business solutions addressing both, the enterprise as well as SMB segment”.
Further elaborating on Interactive Intelligence technology and its unique proposition to customers, Abdul Nasser continues, “Our multi-award winning solution is unique. It is a simplified all-software approach and a single fully integrated platform delivering IP Telephony, end-to-end contact center solutions and unified messaging with a single point of administration. This is a huge advantage over all our competitors’ solutions as they still consist of multiple systems holding various points of administration that require complex, costly implementation and maintenance”.
