Le Bourget, France, 2005/06/14 - With 60 aircrafts acquired by Qatar Airways on very first day of Paris air show, another two airlines announced today that they will acquired A330s and A350s family..
On second day of Paris air show at Le Bourget airport, north of Paris, Indian private carrier Jet Airways announces acquisition of ten Airbus A330-200s/-300s and has taken options on ten more, becoming a new client for the popular A330/A340 family.
Jet Airways plans to use its Airbus A330s on a mix of domestic, regional and international flights. Each aircraft will seat 226 passengers, with luxurious six-abreast flat-bed seating in business, and a comfortable eight-abreast layout in economy.
ALAFCO, the Kuwait-based international aircraft leasing company, also announced today that it will acquire 12 Airbus A350s with options on a further six, becoming one of the first leasing companies to select the new jetliner. Deliveries of ALAFCO’s A350-800s are due to begin in the third quarter of 2012.
