Des Moines, IA, United States, 09/03/2010 - Kemin Industries announces the addition of two employees to Kemin Nutrisurance, the company’s pet food division.

Mitch Poss, Ph.D., has joined as director of research and development and Radek Nigrin has joined as senior commercial manager.
Poss will initiate and oversee the innovation of new products, an integral part of Kemin´s vision and strategy. He has over 18 years of experience in managing research teams and developing new products.
Prior to joining Kemin, Poss was the director of chemistry for Nanosphere, Inc., a nanotechnology-based, in-vitro diagnostics company. He has also held various positions at Baxter Healthcare, including global research and development director and research scientist.
Nigrin will be responsible for managing the sales team and commercial business in Europe. He most recently worked as the senior marketing manager for Kemin AgriFoods Europe. Prior to that, he was the area manager in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and Baltic States.

Poss received a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Fort Lewis College in Colorado.
Nigrin received a Master of Science in animal nutrition from the University of South Bohemia in the Czech Republic.
