The two companies will jointly offer Correlsense’s SharePath and Metron’s Athene to provide a complete capacity management solution that allows organizations to understand the performance of both their core systems and critical services. By combining business forecast information with infrastructure performance metrics, IT organizations can predict whether they have sufficient capacity to meet their needs at both the component and service levels.
While traditional capacity planning solutions focus on monitoring individual IT components and creating models to predict their usage, such solutions may fall short for complex, dynamic environments.
