Moxa is pleased to announce the latest release of DA-Center, an I/O device monitoring solution that makes I/O data acquisition and analysis easier than ever before. DA-Center works with ioLogik series products and Active OPC Server software to convert remote I/O status to a format that can stored in simple spreadsheets or IT databases.
With the latest release, DA-Center now provides even more ways to bridge the real-time status from remote I/O devices with backend IT databases, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Access. It seamlessly interacts with Active OPC Server with standard and open OPC technology, the most commonly used data communications protocol for industrial hardware devices. DA-Center enables any ODBC-compliant database, such as SQL or Oracle, to exchange process data with the Active OPC Server. Users can now log data from Active OPC to their database without any additional SQL development or programming. In addition, the active communications technology maximizes the efficiency of the data logging process to deliver lower bandwidth consumption, faster response times, and a higher maximum number of remote devices. DA-Center also provides a trend-chart utility that animates real-time and historical data from the log file or database for prediction or analysis.
