In the age of the Internet, automotive dealers must grow their technology and Internet-based efforts to help them improve sales and gross. This fall approximately 1,200 dealers and managers are expected at the 9th Digital Dealer Conference & Exposition to hear, among other speakers, automotive sales training expert and author Joe Verde.
The 2010 Conference & Exposition will be held Oct., 12-14 in Las Vegas, Nev., and Mr. Verde will hold a workshop titled, “The 3 Toughest Decisions Dealers Face Today.” The workshop is designed to help dealers grow their businesses again while managing their sales and management teams to better utilize today’s resources and technology.

Last year’s Digital Dealer Conference in Orlando, Fla., drew 559 dealership attendees along with over 70 exhibitors; this year more than 90 exhibitors and nearly twice the number of attendees are expected.
Mr. Verde noted that dealers attending Digital Dealer will be looking to get back on track. “The worst is over for many dealers,” he said. “They’ve slashed expenses and stabilized their dealerships. And if they're like most dealers, they’re making money off of a much lower sales volume. They will attend the convention seeking new solutions to today’s new challenges.”
