New York, NY, United States, 2010/07/06 - Allmilmo USA Corp., the prestigious custom kitchen and bath cabinetry manufacturer, opened its own showroom at the Architects & Designers Building in Manhattan at 150 East 58th Street.
The Grand Opening was held June 15, 2010 in conjunction with Allmilmo’s “Dealer Week,” where owners and representatives from all U.S. Allmilmo dealerships participated in a conference to learn about IPP Guidelines and Standards related to the manufacturing and material selection process.
Allmilmo President and CEO Lothar C. Birkenfeld, along with Mr. Rassman, from the Zeil am Main, Germany factory, led the seminar which covered the company’s official sales manual, technical guidelines, installation procedures, U.S. LEED and German DGM requirements, the protection of consumer health as well as the company’s safety policies.
“We are pleased to have reopened in mid-town to service a large clientele who look for total custom, luxury and high-quality design,” said Lothar Birkenfeld, President and CEO of Allmilmo USA.
The new showroom and design studio provides interior design services both for the trade and general public for residential and commercial projects. Three-dimensional renderings, quotes, installation as well as design services are all offered by Allmilmo’s factory-trained technical design professionals. The new mid-town showroom features Allmilmo’s latest kitchen and bathroom designs and technology as well as a never-seen-before kitchen premiered at EuroCucina in Milan, Italy.
“As a corporately-owned showroom, all designs and services are ordered direct from the factory reducing delivery time, cost and ensuring the highest standards in quality and accuracy,” said Birkenfeld. Also available to order are appliances from Subzero, Viking and Miele to name a few, which can be seen paired with the European design displays. Bathroom vanity displays are on display with special features including deep drawers with in-set organization trays, under lit and glass countertops with fitted sinks and hardware.
Allmilmo offers a very unique service to the trade, interior designers and customers; designs are offered in any wood, any color or any size, achieving unsurpassed custom design and product. Allmilmo carries more than 30 varieties of wood veneers including Wenge, Lemon tree, Olive tree, Makassar, Teak, Pine, Beech and Zebrano, however any wood can be sourced from market as long as it fits under the sustainability guidelines and is not environmentally protected.
All wood supplied by Allmilmo are cultivated from sustainable forests. Veneered fronts are matched using a hi-tech hand-selected process and seven layers of lacquer are applied which makes for a product that lasts a lifetime. The company only employs factory trained, certified installers who are the most experienced in the industry with knowledge in authentic European craftsmanship.
Established in the U.S. in 1976, Allmilmo (allmilmous.com) was the first manufacturer to bring European modern and modular design to the U.S. The showroom will operate as a full-service showroom with personal designers that will accommodate clients providing services such as estimates, colored 3-dimensional renderings, and installation.
Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 9-5pm - no appointment needed. Saturday appointments are available. The A&D Building is open to the trade and the public.
