The Emerging Technology Vendor designation is the second time this month that SANpulse has been honored by CRN and is the latest in a series of awards and recognition that the company has garnered this quarter. Company co-founder, president and CTO Gerard Lam was highlighted this month by CRN as a 2010 Storage Superstar for his innovations in storage migration and data center consolidation he developed as part of the company’s SANlogics™ offering. Additionally, SANlogics was named Product of the Week by Network World and the company was recognized by AlwaysOn Networks as a technology innovator in the East Top 100. Furthermore, SANpulse CEO Peter Mehta was chosen as a finalist in Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
According to CRN, solution providers report that they are driving a higher percentage of sales and profits from emerging vendors, such as SANpulse, and their technology breakthroughs in the midst of economic uncertainty. Emerging vendors are credited with delivering more innovative solutions at a better price for customers, which in turn drive higher profits for solution providers.

Eligibility for the CRN Emerging Technology Vendor list is limited to companies that were founded in 2004 or later, have revenue under $1 billion and have an active U.S. channel strategy. Final selection to the Emerging Technology Vendor list was made by the CRN editorial team.
