Hollywood.com has signed an agreement with Rovi to incorporate Rovi movie and TV data on the two portals, providing an enhanced discovery experience for users looking to find information and rich media content about their favorite movies, TV shows, actors and celebrities.
By deploying the single-source entertainment library of both TV and movie data from Rovi as well as its extensive relational links, Hollywood.com and Spill.com can now enable users to move seamlessly between the two content types. Users of the sites will be able to navigate from a TV show to a lead actorís biography to an award-winning movie that also featured that actor and on and on, providing the opportunity for them to dive even deeper into their favorite entertainment moments.
