Gray Line New Zealand, a division of Johnston’s Group Ltd, introduces multilingual GPS triggered audio tours in multiple languages simultaneously on its sightseeing tours of New Zealand’s South Island. GPS sightseeing experiences offer passengers an immersive touring experience from either Christchurch to Queenstown or the reverse trip, Queenstown to Christchurch against spectacular views of the Southern Alps and a visit to Mount Cook, one of the most dramatic alpine and glacier sceneries in the world. The GPS audio tour system (TriggerPOINT) is a location based (GPS) triggered, wireless tour entertainment solution offering multilingual tour commentary delivered simultaneously to foreign language passengers on several Gray Line New Zealand tours of the South Island. This portable GPS Tour solution has been configured to accommodate luxury motor coaches in six languages – with the first phase of the project providing English, Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin audio tours.
