Agito Networks, Inc., the company delivering innovative solutions in enterprise mobility, today announced that Geos Communications, Inc., a leading developer and distributor of mobile applications and services, has deployed its award-winning RoamAnywhere Mobility Router in its data center, and as a result has begun offering new mobile unified communications (UC) services to its growing customer base.

According to Berman, Geos Communications had on its future roadmap a plan to develop the mobile UC functionality Agito Networks delivers today, but the team realized it would take up to two years to deliver a competitive solution. Approximately six months ago, Geos Communications set out to partner to offer the functionality it was looking for, including voice over WiFi and 3G networks, automatic network handover, and delivery of mobile UC capabilities and PBX functionalities to customers’ smartphones of choice.
“We had done research on the advances in the enterprise FMC/mobile UC industry, and selected three of the leading solutions to test,” said Berman. “After completing our evaluation, we saw that Agito has a significant lead over the competition. Agito was an easy choice because it is the best solution, its VC backers are solid, and it has a good growing customer base.”
