Research and consulting firm Blueocean Market Intelligence announces the addition of two account managers – Yumna Jawad and Kirsten Markson. The recent hires mark a milestone for the two-year old company, started in 2008 by three former (RI) Research International executives, and brings the current staff count to twenty-eight.
“Our new client-facing team members join at a time of phenomenal growth for Blueocean. Their impact and energy is already showing positive effects,” says Blueocean CEO, Diane Frederick.
Jawad joins with six years of account management background, most recently with SHR Perceptual Management. She holds a BBA in marketing from the University of Michigan, and is a 6 Sigma Greenbelt. In addition she has earned the designation Certified Associate of Project Management from the Project Management Institute.
Markson, who has over six years of experience in research, marketing and communications, worked most recently for Mercer Consulting as an associate in workforce change and communication. Prior to that, she was a senior manager in market research analysis at MarketCast. Markson holds two MAs, from the University of Southern California and the University of Sussex, and a BA in literature and cultural anthropology from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
