Telford, Shropshire, United Kingdom, 2010/03/15 - Sirane, Europe’s premier packaging solutions company, has promoted Jeremy Haydn-Davies to its new post of Sales Director – Food Packaging.
Sirane director Simon Balderson says that ‘from the outset Jeremy has helped us catalyse the growth of our company. His sales and marketing skills have allowed our innovation to shine and given it full scope. 2010 will see Sirane tackling new areas of packaging; in film – in further ranges of materials and applications – and Jeremy is the right man to take us forward. We feel that a Sirane directorship is a fully appropriate position for his talents now.’
Haydn-Davies says that ‘this year will see us building the Sirane sales teams even further – with key new appointments planned for throughout the year. Last year, Sirane completed a programme of appointing international sales agents in key locations such as France, northern Europe, southern Europe, Germany, Poland, Spain, Middle East, USA, Australia, South Africa. We now sell across all five world continents – and part of my future brief for Sirane food packaging will involve lifting volumes in all Sirane Ltd these geographical areas.’
Haydn Davies says that ‘in accepting the Sales Directorship, I would simply like to emphasise the Sirane culture of unrivalled service for clients. One or two of them have recently been kind enough to call us the “4th emergency service”, such is our intent to do the right thing by our customers.
I have been tutored in a strong belief of developing real partnerships with customers and I am training all the new talents in the Sirane sales and marketing teams to do the same. We know that Sirane’s innovation and product development – in Resolve, Sira Cook, Flower Fresh – is second to none and that we have the privilege of working for the new face of the packaging sector – one that is increasingly winning recognition and market share.’
Haydn-Davies has over twenty five years in sales management, the most recent twenty years in food packaging applications. He joined Sirane at the time of its formation from Sealed Air (consultant) as the company’s Sales and Marketing Manager and spearheaded Sirane’s growth in absorbent packaging and into a variety of food and non-food packaging niches.
As part of his duties in 2010 first quarter, Haydn-Davies will be managing several Sirane new product launches at the UK’s Foodex exhibition March 21st-24th, 2010, NEC, Birmingham. Haydn Davies will then oversee a full slate of new Sirane packaging products that will introduced to the market during the remainder of 2010.
