NAFA Fleet Management Association has lined up many of the leading fleet industry publications as media sponsors for its 2010 Institute & Expo (I&E), which takes place at the Cobo Center in Detroit April 24-27. This is the first time NAFA has offered official media sponsorships for its annual conference and the initial list includes publications from the United States, Canada, and Europe.
"The number and scope of media outlets endorsing and sponsoring the I&E is testament to the event's magnitude and stature in the industry," said NAFA's Executive Director, Phillip E. Russo, CAE. "I&E is the place where things happen in this industry and anyone who wants to be at the front of that knows they need to be there."
Media sponsors include Fleet Owner (fleetowner.com), Automotive Digest (automotivedigest.com), International Fleet World (internationalfleetworld.com), Fleet Maintenance (fleetmag.com), Fleets & Fuels (fleetsandfuels.com), Automotive Fleet (automotive-fleet.com), Fleet Financials (fleetfinancials.com), Government Fleet (government-fleet.com), Naylor Publications (naylor.com), FLEETSolutions, Fleet Focus, and Canadian Automotive Fleet (fleetbusiness.com).
NAFA's 2010 Institute & Expo (nafaIandE.org) coincides with the rebirth of the American car industry and marks the first time in more than 20 years that the Association has held its annual conference in Detroit. The conference, which attracts fleet professionals from all across the United States and Canada, includes several enhancements designed to guarantee that the conference remains the industry's leading event of the year. Over 60 hours of fleet training, education, and workshops will take advantage of revised scheduling to offer attendees a better use of their time; popular events such as the Public Safety Roadeo, Ride-and-Drive, and Green Zone will return along with a new and improved Expo Floor featuring more than 200 companies showcasing their products and services; and top fleet industry awards by NAFA, Automotive Fleet, Business Fleet, and Fleet Financials will be presented during the conference as well. Future I&E locations include Charlotte (2011), St. Louis (2012), and Atlantic City (2013).
