PPG Industries announced that Deron Patterson, sales development manager, PPG architectural glass, has earned the LEED-Green Associate accreditation from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), the credentialing affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
James J. Bogdan, PPG manager, green building initiatives, construction market team, said Patterson’s accreditation strengthens PPG’s LEED support network, which provides architects and general contractors with LEED documentation support.

Patterson, who joined PPG in 2006, helps architects, developers, glaziers and glass fabricators to specify and source PPG architectural glass for large commercial projects in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Mexico. He has more than 20 years of international sales and marketing experience, including 10 in the glass industry. Patterson also works on legislative and regulatory issues through his active membership in the Texas Glass Association.
Patterson joins a group of PPG associates who have earned LEED professional credentials, such as PPG Architect Managers Mary Hosley and Bob Schrock.
