Shermco Industries, a leading provider of rotating apparatus and electrical power system testing, commissioning, repair, maintenance and training, has announced the hire of Mike Hancock as the manager of business development for Shermco’s Engineering Services Division.
Hancock, an electrical power industry veteran of over 17-years, will work with all levels of Shermco’s organization, applying his broad expertise on business development to the organization’s current operation and planned expansion.
“Mike has extensive experience in this industry and he has a very impressive track record of success,” said Thad Brown, vice president of Engineering Services for Shermco. “He’s overseen some large scale projects in his career, including one related to Hurricane Ike relief efforts and another associated with the 2009 Iowa area floods.”
In his duties, Hancock will focus on business growth and major project execution, as well as supporting and working with all of Shermco’s district operations managers, coordinators, sales engineers and approximately 100 field operations personnel.
