WellMed Medical Management climbed to No. 5 on the annual Top 50 Private Companies ranking published in the most recent San Antonio Business Journal.
WellMed was top-ranked company from the healthcare industry or medical field. This is the third consecutive year WellMed has been listed among the region’s Top 50 Private Companies. WellMed ranked 18th in 2008 and 8th in 2009.
Last month, the San Antonio Business Journal listed WellMed as the largest medical group in the region with 28 clinics in Texas and Florida.
