Mike Moore, of Shermco Industries, is scheduled to make a presentation at the Texas Hill Country 2010 Symposium: Sharing the Knowledge, presented by the Texas Hill Country chapters of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the Semiconductor Environmental Safety and Health Association, February 11-12, 2010 at the Freescale Semiconductor Learning Center in Austin, Texas.
“As technology changes, so do the rules that govern the safety of the men and women that work in potentially hazardous jobs across America,” said Moore. “A manager’s first responsibility to his or her employees is maintaining their safety, and the annual Texas Hill Country Symposium is one way managers across a wide variety of industries can come together to share and learn methods to keep their workplace and employees safe.”
Moore’s presentation, “Understanding Your Responsibilities as a Manager of Contractors, Qualified and Unqualified Workers,” will address many of the duties managers face in maintaining a safe workplace.
The Freescale Semiconductor Learning Center is located at 7700 Parmer Lane, Austin, TX 77860.
