Corvalius is technology startup from Argentina and has developed beWeeVee, a live collaboration technology, that allow software companies to embed simultaneous editing functionality, à la Google Wave, into windows and rich internet applications.

Buenos Aires, Argentina, 01/25/2010 – Corvalius is an Argentinian company that began operations in June 2009. After several months of evaluation by real users and improvement to beWeeVee, is introducing it's technology to U.S. and UK media.
About a year ago, Corvalius started to work on an enabling technology aimed at optimizing the workflow of multiple participants creating digital assets. Improving efficiency of teams in terms of time and costs.
As a result of this work, Corvalius is introducing beWeeVee. The technology is a framework that can be used to enhance applications allowing users to create digital information, such as text or diagrams, simultaneously, regardless of where they are located. This is also called live Collaboration or really Real-time collaboration.
The technology also has similarities with Google Wave and Etherpad, whose products increasingly gain mass market and corporate adoption. Recently, beWeeVee was a finalist of the Sadosky Awards. These awards distinguish the best IT innovations in Argentina industry. Corvalius, has also been selected as Startup of the Day within the Microsoft Bizspark Program.
Business Opportunities
Offered as a component, beWeeVee allows development companies to enable live collaboration in their product line, reducing the time-to-market and the TCO of the realtime enabled functionality in their products. Under development and established products alike can integrate beWeeVee technology allowing multiple users to participate in a friction-less fashion in tasks such as composing documents, drawing, audio and video assets.
With live collaboration, products can significantly reduce the time required to finish tasks typically achieved through create-review-approve workflows. Additionally, the complete history of transactions is stored, which introduces versioning, playback, and endless-undo out-of-the-box.

Technology Behind
beWeeVee (beweevee.com) is the first framework that implements Operational Transformation (OT) natively on .NET technology and is available for use in RIAs and/or desktop applications interchangeably. To date, the development team has implemented collaborative notepads and whiteboards in Silverlight, WPF, incorporated the technology in WinForms controls and even interoperated with Javascript rich text editing controls. This versatility is an advantage when choosing between the many technologies that Microsoft offers as development platforms and where beWeeVee works seamlessly.
Next Steps
Corvalius (corvalius.com) plans to release in late February a new version of the SDK, which is also free for noncommercial and educational use. This new version will contain even more examples and new components to facilitate the further integration with existing products. Joincube, an enterprise social network, announced that will incorporate beWeeVee offered as an extra feature to their customers. Meanwhile, Corvalius will continue developing new versions of the SDK that will be released during 2010. Corvalius is also seeking investment for beWeeVee for Visual Studio, a product that undoubtedly will revolutionize the efficiency of developers enabling them to incorporate live collaboration in the software development world.
