The world’s largest Reverse Logistics event runs for three full days February 8-10, 2010, and football legend and current NFL coach Mike Singletary will join the event.
Attendees from throughout North America as well as delegates from around the world will converge at the Rio Hotel and Casino. ODMs and OEMs will be looking for Third Party Service Providers (3PSPs) that can manage Reverse Logistics in North America as well as in Europe, Asia and South America. “This will be the best RLA conference, by far!" says Gailen Vick, President, Reverse Logistics Association. "Industry leaders from across North and South America are gathering to discuss best practices and service solutions."
By meeting the Speakers and Exhibitors, attendees will learn about the latest global reverse logistics technologies and trends that can help them grow and enhance their businesses. More than 150 speakers will present and will address topics such as Service Parts Management, Green Supply Chain, Retail Returns, Aftermarket Support of Wireless Devices and much more.
Attendees who arrive early will enjoy the RLA Football Party on Sunday, February 7, with special guest Mike Singletary. Singletary played 12 years in the NFL for the Chicago Bears and just finished his first full season as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. The Conference starts on Monday, February 8, with Workshops conducted by industry leaders. Workshops focus on key industry topics such as Implementing an End of Service Life Strategy, Marketing Reverse Logistics, RL Contracts and more. On Monday, RLA will also host the 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament which gives companies the opportunity to expand their network and strengthen relationships while on the course. In addition to being a good way to do business while in Las Vegas, proceeds from the Golf Tournament benefit Kids on the Move, a non-profit organization based in Orem, Utah, that assists families with children with special needs. The Exhibit Hall opens at 1:00PM Monday as the RLA Industry and Focus Committees begin their open discussions. RLA Committees are composed of industry professionals and focus on topics such as Data Storage, IT Solutions, Reverse Logistics in India and more.
The Keynote Address on Tuesday will be delivered by Mark Twaalfhoven, President of Valuec, an investment firm focusing on companies that provide Reverse Logistics services. Twaalfhoven was previously CEO of Teleplan, a Reverse Logistics service provider, and graduated from Stanford, Purdue and Harvard Universities. Presentations and Panel discussions with RL Professionals and leading academics continue throughout the day and feature companies such as Microsoft, The Home Depot, United States Postal Service and Flextronics. The Exhibit Hall is also open throughout the event on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Wednesday’s Keynote speaker will be William Pollock, Vice President - Principal Analyst of Aberdeen Group. Pollock leads the research organization’s Strategic Service Management Practice and will present recent research findings addressing the global value chain. Sessions continue throughout the day and feature industry leaders such as Philips, Dell and Cisco.
